- Affordable but quality Sometimes quality clothes are hard to come by when your shopping with a budget of under $5o bucks but every single outfit in this collection is affordable and under $45. Stores like Von maur and Macey’s may be good quality but i can almost guarentee you that you will not be able to find outifts for low prices. So next time you go shopping try places like Forever 21 and H&M, and though it may seem like Jcpenny and Kohls aren’t as high quality as Macey’s they have great jeans for low prices, and sometimes some nice shirts too.

November 11th, 2009Makeup, UncategorizedUrban Decay is Hosting its annual Friends and Family sale on their website Nov. 7th – Nov. 20th! You only have a limited time so hurry quick! You can view the little advertisement here. Basically by entering the code “FNFW1″ you will receive 30% off your entire order. Now, is that a good deal or what?
Some items I think you should pick up (if you didn’t already) is the Urban Decay book of shadows vol. 2. You get so many shadows for a great price, and believe me when I say you will have that pallet forever. Another thing you should try out is the 24/7 glide on eye pencils. They are waterproof and are some of the creamiest eyeliners I have tried. Now you can buy a whole range of colors in a big set for a great price, so go check that out while your at it! I don’t really have any more recommendations because I don’t use a lot of Urban Decay products, but I will assure you, after this sale I will have a lot more UD products to talk about.
Check out www.UrbanDecay.com
Thanks for reading everyone!

We all think about this whenever we are shopping for makeup…do we go with the pricier makeup or the stuff you can buy at our local grocery store? Well, if you have no preference as to the quality of the makeup, then the obvious pick for you is drugtore brands (i.e, L’Oreal, Revlon, Almay, Maybeline, etc). When it comes to things like lipgloss, mascara and lip stick it is drugstore all the way for me. In my mind the quality is no better or worse that higher end brands and since its lipgloss, your going to want to buy a lot of it. Some people however like higher end brands (i.e, MAC, Lancome, Bobbi Brown, NARS, etc) they think they are getting better quality makeup just becuase they are paying a bigger price. In some cases this is true. Some makeup that I think you can get better quality when you buy the more expensive stuff is foundations/concealers and eye shadows. These products are hard to make if you dont use high quality products so that is why you find the drugstore brands have higher prices on these products. Another huge plus about higher end brands is that you can try out your makeup at their counter instead of guessing what colors look best on you. The sales people really work with you one on one to find a product for you, even if they can be annoying sometimes. You just dont get that personal level when you buy from Walmart or Target. Personally I prefer to buy higher end makeup when I can afford it, but as for now I am just a student with no money. In this case, drugstore is a hassle to use but it works for now. In general, you really need to try out products for yourself in order to see if they work better for you or not. That is all I have for you today. Tell me if you would like me to follow up on this! I just kinda rambled and randomly put things together so I’m sorry if it is hard to read. See you guys soon!

September 23rd, 2009Fashion, Uncategorizedlately, i haven’t had much of a chance to get on the Internet because i have been so busy with school and yearbook, and newspaper so sorry about that but when ever i get on the Internet the one website i have been going to repeatedly and that website is a blog called seaofshoes.com. I find myself looking at her pics for hours i just cant help myself. I aspire to one day have our blog as big as hers but i know it isn’t very realistic because for one she is well, very wealthy she goes on random trips all the time and i go on vacation maybe, once a year. She shops at designer stores and i shop at thrift stores. Her mom has her own blog too (which is also famous) my mom works at a university. She has been in teen vogue and Vogue and i read teen vogue and vogue. Let’s face it not everyone can be rich and famous. I wish i could shop at Chanel and LGB in Tokyo and barneys in new york ,and own my own pair of miu miu studded boots but the truth is not every teen in America is born into a family whose parents make 6 figures a year, or more. The real truth is my outfit is probably worth 20 bucks but i cant help that i still love fashion and aspire to write, design, and wear clothes that are worth more than everything i own. I cant help it at all. All i can do is continue to give you the real truth and not sugar coat it and not everyone in America can be like Jane from seaofshoes.com I’m sorry i don’t mean to offend you Jane in any way the truth is i wish i was you or i wish i was in you position anyway. America i promise to continue to give you the harsh reality and and as jane takes pics of herself in her designer clothes and plenty of other random amazing pics we will do the same but in clothes that are actually affordable for the average person so your not just dreaming and wishing but buying clothes that fit, that are still cute, may be missing just one thing (the label) but your gaining a lot more from it all. your wallet still has some money left in it, and by buying cheaper you get more
so stay out of the poor house and shop at places like: Forever 21, Plato’s closet, H&M, and places that have realistic prices so keep tuning in cuz soon we’ll add sum pics to!loves your shopgirl Rose

Today I received an e-mail from Sephora telling me about their new value sets. Some of these used to be over $100 but now you can get them for under $40! This is Great deal in my opinion considering how many great product samples you get in these boxes. Go to your local Sephora for more information, or you can check out this link here . Other than that, happy shopping!
