Today I received an e-mail from Sephora telling me about their new value sets. Some of these used to be over $100 but now you can get them for under $40! This is Great deal in my opinion considering how many great product samples you get in these boxes. Go to your local Sephora for more information, or you can check out this link here . Other than that, happy shopping! -
September 16th, 2009BeautyWhen I started shaving, my mom would never buy me shave gel. She claimed that it was unnecessary and a waste of money. “You just need to use soap, that’s all!” she would tell me every time I dumped a can of shave gel into the cart at the grocery store. Now I have had the opportunity to get Skintimate shave gel and so I do. This new scent from the Skintimate signature scents line smells so wonderful! Its called flirty mango, which is a very appropriate name I might add. It just waked you up as you shave your legs and makes shaving your legs that much more fun. Since Skintimate is the only brand of shave gel that I used, I can’t compare it to other brands, but I can compare to my mothers way of shaving; the dreaded soap and water….dun dun dun!!!
I have had the pleasure of using this product for about 2 weeks now and so far, so good. The gel is a light orange color and it foams up really nicely. A little goes a long way. Another thing I like about this shave gel (ha, I already mentioned this one) is the scent! The only way I can describe it would be a juicy mango, fresh, tropical scent. I am also one of those people who get shaving bumps all over their legs but thanks to Skintimate, bye bye shave bumps! I really don’t have to say anything bad about this product. I would really recommend this product for anyone who wants to try it!

Last week I bought this product during a normal day of shopping and I couldn’t wait to do a review on it for you guys. For $14.50, I was expecting a lot from this makeup remover. On the bottle it claims to be an all in one lash and lid cleansing, conditioning and softening for all skin types. Pretty impressive.I opened the bottle and put a dab of the remover onto a cotton ball, quickly learning that I was going to need a lot more product to remove everything (I used this to remove all the makeup on my face, not just eye-makeup). This is a downside considering how much product I had to use just to remove the makeup off of my face (and I hardly wear any face makeup!) The makeup removing “power” or whatever you want to call it of this remover though was impressive. A little better than the average drugstore makeup remover, Yet this product also soothes and conditions your skin and lashes!
The next morning after I used this product I felt a slight difference in the texture of my skin and lashes. They felt a little softer…Hey this thing actually was working! Who knew camomile was such an amazing product. I also noticed that my skin didn’t break out or become irritated over night, and that it is fragrance free ( a plus for you sensitive skin types!)
Overall-great product. The price is a little iffy considering I could buy a cheaper makeup remover and have the same makeup removing “power”. But lets not forget the great effects of the camomile! I feel like a am repeating myself over and over again in this post so I suppose i should just leave it here. I hope this was helpful to all of you and stay tuned for more reviews!

I recently got an opportunity to try out these new BIC Soleil Bella razors. No, I did not get these free from some website. I spent my own money on these razors so therefore i will give you an honest opinion. before i actually bought these I actually read some review on other sites, and i didn’t trust the reviews because everyone was talking about how they got the razors free from some website. Then it hit me…I should do an honest review of these! so here it is. The BIC Soleil Bella razors are the newest addition to the BIC Soleil line, and let me tell you these so far are the best, although not perfect. I love how this razor has 4 blades and a pivoting head, unlike the BIC Twilight Soilel (with only 3 blades and a non-pivoting head) I usually like a quick shave that takes 5 minutes to complete in the shower, and that is exactly what I got with this razor. The handle is just perfect the way it fits in my hand and the rubber grips are in just the right place. The first razor unfortunately only lasted me about 6 shaves because one of the blades was very dull and was giving me nicks and cuts left and right…another downside to this product is the price, coming in at a few dollars more than the original 3-blade soleil. Personally I think I would buy this product again (if it was on sale, haha) but if you are looking for a razor to get a quick shave in the shower, this will do you the trick.
Look for more reviews coming your way!

How to Give Yourself a Facial
This will be something new starting today that I just came up with…haha. If you don’t already know by the title, I guess I should just tell you again. It’s a beauty video of the week! What I will do is go on youtube and find a video that I like that is related to beauty and something that will help you guys. A new layout will be coming soon (whoops, did I just tell you that?!) and the video will be in the side bar, but since there really is no room in the layout, I’ll just have to post it here, oh well! I hope you enjoy!

This weekend I decided to pick up the neutrogena wave. Yes, I know i am a bit late to jump on the bandwagon with this
product, but i told myself “what the heck! its worth a shot.” I got it for a little o
ver $14 dollars at my local Meijer, and was disspointed to find only the pink colored ones around. Neutrogena has advertised 3 different colors on the wave, but I have yet to see the blue or lime green. Have they discontinued the other colors? That of course is the least of my worries when Ibought it.The package comes with a 2 week supply of cleansing pads (14 pads to be exact) which is more of a 1 week supply to me. It also comes with a AA battery which is convenient, because i have no batteries around my house. My first impressions of this product were good. The device is cute, and very simple. I like that. For the price, I thought i got a pretty good deal.
That night I went to use the wave along with my every day skin care routine. When I stuck the cleanising pad onto the wave, I noticed a
little spot of cleansing soap and rinsed that under the water. Unlike in the commercial, there were very few large suds on the pad, if not any. This disappointed me a little, but I wasn’t about to give up on the system yet. The vibrating motion felt good, like I was cleaning my face. Not like I was rubbing my skin raw, which i also find a good thing about the Wave. This product claims that it can clean 10x deeper than just rubbing in cleanser with your fingers, which I find a little phony. The vibrating motion also does not seem to do all that much for your face either. I really don’t see how soft vibrations can deep clean your skin. It just hasn’t worked for me in that sense. After I was done washing my face with the Wave, I noticed my face felt refreshed and softer, but not 10x cleaner. That whole deal to me is just a marketing gimmick. To wrap up this long conclusion of the Neutrogena wave, I have to say after a few days using it, by itself this product will not do much for your skin other than making it feel softer. The product is just a very basic cleanser attached to a vibrating pad holder (if that’s what you call it). For the price, I think the Neutrogena Wave is worth it. If your looking for something that will get rid of your acne, I would skip out on this one.
That’s it for now everyone! see you again next post. Sincerely,
Megan
